SUMMIT
The Summit
is a six channel analog output card with 16-bit resolution. In addition,
the Summit provides 24-lines of high current digital I/O. It is designed
for use in systems where high reliability is of utmost importance while operating
in harsh environments.
Each
analog output range is individually configurable to ±10V, ±5V,
0-5V or 0-10V.
Analog (DAC) output transfers
can be setup for individual or simultaneous through either software or a hardware input strobe configurations.
Software compatibility
is important because it immediately offers third party driver support as well as second sourcing. The Summit is compatible
with several other ISA cards including Measurement Computing CIO-DDA06/16
and Keithley DDA-06. It is also a combined DAC06 and DIO24 rolled into
one.
8255 Software compatible interface structure
provides one 8255 compatible I/O ports that provides 24-lines of general purpose digital I/O.
High-current
digital outputs 65mA sink and 15mA source.
This
is true even while operating at high temperatures.
Direct
interfacing to OPTO-22’s isolated I/O racks. Digital
I/O connector is organized to allow direct connection to OPTO-22’s
isolated I/O racks including the G4 series, the PB16-H, PB16-J,
PB16-K, PB16-L, PB8H and the PB24HQ.
Single
+5V Supply Operation means
reduced power supply and system level complexities.
LED
status indicator. An LED displays
card activity which is useful for both product development and field
service status. By looking at the LED you can quickly determine system
status with no tools required.
PC/104
Data bus width. Either 8- or 16-bit data paths are possible
for the analog outputs. 16-bit data path effectively doubles the PC/104
bandwidth.
FPGA
customization available. We
are always able to offer FPGA customization to any of our standard
products to meet your exact program requirements.
