STX104
The STX104 is a 16 channel analog input card with 16-bit resolution. In addition, the STX104 provides 2-channels of analog output with 16-bit resolution. It is designed for use in systems where high reliability is of utmost importance while operating in harsh environments.
Very low noise analog inputs at less than 1.5-LSB RMS over all input ranges (1.1-LSB RMS typical). Noise reduction to 0.6-LSB RMS can be achieved using the jumper selectable sixteen sample moving average filter.
Large one mega-sample FIFO greatly relaxes interrupt latency problems found when using Linux, Windows or other operating systems. Offers more data collection options especially for post-analysis activities.
True 16-bit analog outputs capable of driving up to 50 milli-watt loads.
Software compatibility is important because it immediately offers third party driver support as well as second sourcing. The STX104 is compatible with several other ISA and PC/104 cards including Measurement Computing CIO-DAS1602/16, DAS-1602/16-P5, DAS-16/16jr, PC104-DAS16JR/16, DAC-02 and Keithley DAS-16 Series.
Software Drivers are readily available for VisSim, Labview, Matlab, DAQARTA and Visual Basic environments just to name a few.
Low software overhead interrupt options are available including one interrupt per burst or one interrupt per 512 FIFO samples. Full legacy interrupts (to preserve driver compatibility) are also provided.
PC/104 Data Bus width. Either 8- or 16-bit data paths are possible for the analog inputs and analog outputs. 16-bit data path effectively doubles the PC/104 bandwidth.
Single +5V Supply Operation means reduced power supply and system level complexities.
